Can anyone give advice on volntary workers.  The type of thing I am looking for is:

Are they classed as employed by the company even if they don't receive any monetary gain?

Can they be aksed\instructed to sign an agreement as to confidentiality, discipline,

Is an employer vicariously liable for the actions of the volunteer.

Is any form of insurance (over and above the standard) required to cover them whilst in company premises.

Many thanks for anything forthcoming.

I work with many voluntary organisations in employment matters. If you want to drop me an email I will provide the advice you need.
