Hi,

Hope I can get some advise on becoming an HR adviser, as  I am being told by various agencies and companies that I have had interviews with that I am not suitable to be an HR adviser as I don't have any direct experience of providing advise. They are also saying that I am over qualified and to experienced to be an administrator/ assistant.

I am in my mid 20's and a graduate who moved in to HR a couple of years ago, I have worked as a volunteer HR admin, before moving on to work as an L&D assistant (contract) and most recently a PA to a HR Director (contract).  Currently I am studying for my CIPD at grad level

I chose the contract route as I wanted to see what HR was like, now I would like to find a perm job.

If anyone has any throughts I would be really grateful. I enjoy working working in HR.

Ment to say advice on the 1st line, however I cannot correct the posting without the webpage crashing.
