Hi all Just a quick opinion poll.... I have 9 years HR experience in both public and private sectors, a Psychology degree and a Post Grad Diploma in HRM, which used to give me Graduate CIPD membership status. I'm currently UK HR Manager for a multi-national manufacturer of a well known brand. To be honest I've never found any value in CIPD membership apart from proving a level of professional competence or acquired knowledge. I never upgraded from graduate to full membership and 3 years ago I let my membership lapse. Question is .... will I live to regret it? Assuming there is evidence of progression and professional updating, in your opinion, is there a level, either of experience or seniority, at which CIPD membership is irrelevant? Thanks

| I haven't been a CIPD member since qualifying and I don't feel I've missed out on anything. I have numerous HR pals the same. | |||
