Where do employees stand legally when they are expected to take on considerable additional responsibilities without the benefit of additional remuneration?

Elizabeth,

Firstly I would recommend that you compare your previous job spec to your current job spec to identify the extra areas of responsibility. I would then discuss your concerns with your immediate line manager and if you are not happy with the outcome then you could explore the grievance route.

Best Regards

Steve
