I'm working for an organisation which is looking to take on a number of voluntary workers in the coming months. I was wondering if anyone had any advice as to terms and conditions e.g:


Notice period/Termination of contract - can volunteers be legally held to a notice period? Likewise, is notice required to end a voluntary workers contract?


Probationary period - Is this applicable to voluntary workers?


Also, any general advice on do's and dont's regarding voluntary workers terms and conditions would be appreciated!
