We entered into a compromise agreement with an employee a couple of years ago, and have since received 2 requests for verbal and written references.

We did provide him with a general written reference at the time of the agreement.

Can anyone shed any light on what we should do when further references are requested? We would rather not provide anything further, but are not clear on the absolute legal requirements on what we have to provide.
