London 2012

warning Warning: This page is no longer updated.

This Summer the Olympic Games will come to London, resulting in many employers facing issues around absence, transport disruption and staff  volunteering at the games.

Employers have been urged to start planning for the 2012 London Olympics as soon as possible to reduce the risk of unauthorised absence and to ensure they get the best from workers during the event.

And with large numbers of visitors due to put pressure on London's public transport system, employees may face difficulties getting to work during peak hours.

Keep up-to-date with the latest news and guidance on the Olympics, including model policies on volunteering, on this page.
