Appeal plans set by HSE

A notice of approval has been issued by the HSE, setting out procedures for
staff appealing against decisions recorded in their health records under the
Ionising Radiations Regulations 1999.

An employee aggrieved by a decision recorded in their record can apply to
the HSE for the decision to be reviewed.

If the appeal is upheld the employee’s health record will be amended or the
conditions imposed by the original decision changed.
