Average UK working week is 55 days, claims report

The UK is a country of workaholics, according to a year long survey.

Research commissioned by office furniture company Samas Roneo claims that 95 per cent of respondents work more than 37.5 hours a week, and that the average working week is longer than 55 hours.

The survey of 200 people showed that people in the UK are among the hardest working employees in Europe. Also 90 per cent of people spend time working from home.
