Banker wins unfair dismissal claim

Diversity
in the City of London came under the spotlight again last week when banker
Carina Coleman (above) won her claim for unfair dismissal against her former
employer.

An
employment tribunal also ruled Coleman, 30, had suffered victimisation.
However, she lost her claim that she had been a victim of sexual discrimination
and unlawful deduction of wages against the bank, which cannot be named for
legal reasons.
