Blame that ****** Tony Blair

I found myself agreeing with all of Angela O’Connor’s opinion piece on bad manners (Personnel Today, 24 July), especially the newish BlackBerry-checking distraction.

One area I thought was missed, however, was the senior management macho swearing at meetings.

Is this necessary? Is it cool? Does it add to the level of debate. Does it ****!

Still, when we hear that the Tony Blair cabinet meetings were full of expletives, what chance do we have of conducting meetings in a civilised way?
