Bright spark required: Serious Organised Crime Agency seeks head of human resources operations

Drug trafficking, people smuggling and money laundering are, hopefully, not the usual activities that any human resources professional would be involved in on a day-to-day basis.

But the Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA) is looking for a head of HR operations who is willing to get their hands dirty. The agency is looking for a ‘hands on’ practitioner to help tackle organised crime that costs the UK about £40bn a year. Based in London, the £65,000-a-year role requires strong leadership and excellent communication skills, according to the job ad.
