British Airways bans travel benefits for striking staff

Travel benefits will not be reinstated for British Airways cabin crew members involved in the current industrial action, which is set to start again tonight (Friday) at midnight, despite union efforts.

A BBC report added that the union Unite has demanded that any deals now made between the airline and the workers must include previous travel concessions.

British Airways also announced that there were no plans to try and come to an agreement with striking workers ahead of tonight’s wave of industrial action, which is over proposed changes to pay and working conditions.
