Lyreco wins TD2001 award

A
small training team of just four people beat off competition from the likes of
Abbey National, GNER and Sheffield City Council to win the TD2001 Award

The
award, organised by Training magazine and sponsored by Raytheon Professional
Services, attracted over 40 entries.

The
trophy was awarded at a ceremony at the Training Solutions Show at the NEC in
Birmingham.

Judge
Andrew Forrest, director of learning at The Industrial Society, said the judges
had been impressed by the volume of learning generated by the small team, and
said that they had undoubtedly contributed to Lyreco’s "spectacular and
steady" growth over the past 10 years.

The
runners up were financial services company Abbey National and Sheffield City
Council. The judges also commended Chubb Insurance Services, rail operator
GNER, telecoms company One 2 One and Prism.
