Network Rail staff to strike over pensions

More
than 7,500 members of the RMT union are to strike next Wednesday at Network
Rail over pensions.

RMT
general secretary, Bob Crow, claims Network Rail refused to negotiate on
pensions.

"The
company belatedly accepted that our pensions are a suitable area for
negotiation, but if its offer to set up a pensions forum is to mean anything at
all, it must be accompanied by flexibility and a willingness to
negotiate."
