Sheffield nurse lecturer Jean Raper has won a national medical award for her
work with OH nurse teams in Sheffield.
Raper, who was handed a cheque for £500, said it was the first prize she had
won during her 35-year career in occupational health.
The award, supported by Philip Harris Medical, was set up to encourage OH
nurses to write about how they had put the ENB report, Occupational Health
Nursing Contributing to Healthier Workplaces into practice.
She used the report to explain to purchasers of OH services the
comprehensive and specifically targeted service they can expect from a
qualified OH nurse.
