Canned Food Information Bureau

Information on canned food. Site includes recipes, healthy eating and plenty
of nutritional information. It also has a media centre which keeps abreast of
all the latest news.

European Food Information Centre

Provides science-based information on food, nutrition, food safety and
quality. A lively site, addressing many current issues with regard to nutrition
and health.

Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Information Bureau

Up-to-the-minute news on fresh fruit and vegetables.

Institute of Food Science and Technology

Thorough site covering all aspects of nutritional health. User-friendly
pages including FAQs about food safety, recent statements on nutritional
related topics.

Macrobiotic Society of Great Britain

Web site of the Macrobiotic Society of Great Britain, provides information
about macrobiotic diet. An interesting site for anyone wanting to find out more

healthy eating. Information on how to look and feel better, and tips on
improving nutritional health.

Colourful and accessible site offering information on healthy eating and
nutrition for the non-professional. Contains information about fat, sugar, salt
and fibre, weight loss, nutritional facts and features on food labelling,
additives, and allergies. Another good site for OHAs to recommend to anyone
wanting to know more about diet and healthy eating.
