Car manufactuter Peugeot-Citroën has signed a global deal with federations representing 85 trade unions agreeing a framework for corporate social responsibility (CSR).
The company, which has a global of workforce of more than 200,000, agreed the deal with the International Metalworkers’ Federation and the European Metalworkers Federation that aims to expand best practices in HR.
Jean-Luc Vergne, HR vice-president at Peugeot-Citroën, said: “This agreement involves senior management and all of the trade unions in all of the countries where we operate.
“It is a major contribution to the sustainable growth of our group, not only in terms of ethics and human rights, but also in terms of corporate social responsibility.”
