Consultancy PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) is getting its employees to eat curry to support a fundraising campaign.
The Spice Up Your Life campaign, run by international development charity VSO, aims raise money for volunteers who work with people living with HIV and AIDS in developing countries.
Through the campaign VSO is asking people to hold a curry night, invite friends and family over and ask for a donation.
PwC is supporting the campaign by matching donations from employees, serving curries in its eight staff restaurants in offices around the country, and targeting the student market with flyers and advertising for the campaign.
Jane Munro, senior recruitment manager at PwC, said: “PwC actively encourages staff to undertake VSO placements overseas. We were keen to be even more involved with VSO’s work and Spice Up Your Life was a great opportunity.”
