Specsavers Corporate Eyecare today announces the appointment of Director of Strategic Alliances, Jim Lythgow.
Lythgow will report into Mark Raines, director of corporate and retail development.
This is a new role and the main responsibility will be to expand existing markets as well as open new markets and sales channels, in both public and private sectors.
Lythgow has a strong background in developing new propositions in established markets and opening new sales channels, particularly in the healthcare industries. The UK field and telephone sales departments will report into him.
Mark Raines, director of corporate and retail development said, ‘Jim is a high-calibre professional with an excellent track record and we are delighted to have him on board. Our corporate clients are important to us, and Jim will build on our progression to date by expanding our offering to them and driving forward new initiatives.’
Lythgow has previously held a number of high-level appointments, most recently as Client Director managing a public-sector consultancy and as Sales and Marketing Director for an ophthalmic software and professional services company.
