Strong branding attracts best recruits in the City

Employer
brands are playing an increasing part in the battle to attract the best people,
research claims.

A survey by
Penna Consulting reveals that 73 per cent of the leading City HR professionals
believe clear branding improves the quality of recruitment candidates and 58
per cent stress the importance of an organisation’s brand to potential
recruits.

Michael
Moran, executive director for the Penna City initiative commented,"The
importance of employer brands is as true for the City as any other sector. In
the current City employment market, where many firms are being forced to cut
staff numbers, a strong ’employee value proposition’ will be a key factor in
ensuring that they are able to attract the right quality of people back when
they need to."
