Two minutes is all it takes to do a risk assessment of the potential for
violence in a work situation, training consultant Walter Brennan told the
conference. As workplace conflict and violence is estimated to cost
organisations between 5 and 10 per cent of their income it is time well spent,
Brennan has developed a risk assessment tool that can be used quickly and
simply by any employee to help them assess the size of the threat of violence
facing them or a colleague.

Brennan explaining his two-minute risk assessment.
