North
Wales Police will make all new recruits sign a ‘no racism’ pact following a BBC
documentary exposing racist officers.
The
force will include the pact in its recruitment pack, and anyone wanting to join
will need to sign the document – a personal contract between themselves and
Chief Constable Richard Brunstrom.
Any
breach of the contract will lead to dismissal.
Earlier
this year, the BBC’s The Secret Policeman showed undercover footage of trainee
officers making racist comments.
