Who’s installing what

WHSmith is transferring the management and processing of its payroll, time and attendance and some of its HR administration to Ceridian Centrefile. It was previously carried out in-house. The seven-year contract includes payroll for 25,000 UK employees across 700 branches. Ceridian will provide management reporting facilities and HR self-service for office-based staff.

ZOO Digital Group, the DVD and videogame publisher responsible for the interactive Who Wants To Be A Millionaire DVD game, has implemented flexible benefits for its 130 employees based in Sheffield and Bristol. The system was designed and implemented by Thomson Online Benefits, and options include tax-free bicycles.

Varndean College in Brighton has installed the Computers in Personnel Ciphr HR solution. As well as streamlining HR administration processes, the sixth-form college will be using the system to improve its reporting ability to aid senior management in decision-making, as it now has a single source of HR information.
