All 360 degree feedback should have this

I am really surprised to see the benefit of having a platform wherein individuals can provide anonymous feedback to their colleagues. Ok - first of all, I will make you familiar about what I am writing and recommending. I recently visited a website called Orcoli i.e. www.orcoli.com. The website has a feature wherein you can create any of your colleague's profile and rate them based on 360 degree feedback model.

Now I am getting started...I have been recently rated by one of the colleagues and I was surprised to see her comments not because anything was astonishingly negative. Instead, we were one of the best friends at the work place and we are quiet open and honest to each other. And that’s why she told that she is rating me on Orcoli - ideally she should not disclose the name but you know best friends... When I asked her that it has been four years we are working together and you never shared your feedback with me. She replied that there was no such forum to provide the feedback in our organization.

It is quiet a prevalent situation in this world, even in the organizations where 360 degree feedback is implemented. As we say, do not wait for the annual appraisal to provide feedback to your subordinates. Likewise, employees cannot wait when the organization will conduct the 360 degree feedback. In fact, employees quiet often feel a need of providing feedback to their managers, peers and / or subordinates. Orcoli has filed in this gap.

According to me, Orcoli fills following two gaps:

1. I have observed that most of the organizations do not have a provision of providing anonymous feedback to their colleagues. Orcoli empowers employees to do the same.

2. And for organizations who follow 360 tools do not have the provision of providing continuous feedback to their colleagues. They have to wait for the yearly cycle (or whatever the frequency is) to complete. Using Orcoli, everyone can rate their colleagues and post the feedback anonymously any time any day.
