Can anyone help me do a bit of background research? I am just wondering if any of you pay on a lunar payroll (4 weekly) and if so what sector you operate in. I am looking at possibly moving from lunar to monthly and I am trying to look at how popular or otherwise this is. So far, not very!

We operate a lunar payroll for our contact centre employees (Home Shopping). Until 2010, they were all weekly paid and the reception to the change was quite mixed. I would expect a move from lunar to monthly pay would be less of an upheaval. However as our Monthly paid employees have different contact terms (sick pay etc), this would involve more of a change than simply pay frequency.
