Hi this may be a bit long winded so please bear with me. I have been in a seconded position for 10 months, in May I will have worked in my seconded role for 12 months are would become permenent. However, back in Aug/Sept last year, the company announced redundancies and I was told I was to go back to my original role, this has not happened so far and I remain seconded, another 2 redundancy rounds have happened since then and again I was told I was destined to go back to my previous role within the company, now i learn that when the initial redundancies were announced in Aug/Sept and I was told I was going back to my previous role, my secondment effectivley ended then and I was in a period of handover, which I think I'm in now still. Is this correct? I feel that I'm being taken advantage of and the lack of imformation relating to my role and the business critical label that has been given to my role makes me wonder why I have not gone back to my previous role already and if the company are following the proceedings down to the 'T'. I hope someone can help as it's starting to get on top of me a little, I love my seconded job and was looking forward to becoming permenent in May. Now I just feel worthless. Any further information you may need to assist you with your answer please ask me. regards.
