Area HR Manager, Saudi Arabia, £40,000 - £50,000 Tax Free

The Role:
Alshaya Retail currently has a number of opportunities for experienced HR professionals to join us in the position of Area HR Manager.
Based in Saudi Arabia, one of the world’s fastest-growing retail markets, you will work closely with our Operations Managers to provide day to day support for all key HR activities, from training and performance management to manpower planning and recruitment.

Key responsibilities will include:
• Providing day to day HR support to business across multiple sites
• Working with the recruitment team to meet recruitment targets
• Participation in overseas recruitment drives to ensure recruitment standards are met in the selection
• Facilitation and implementation of training and development programs for local operations
• Facilitating annual performance appraisal process within the business
• Investigation of disciplinary issues in accordance with company policy and local labour law.

The Person:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive HR generalist with the following attributes:
• Previous Generalist Human Resources experience
• CIPD qualified or equivalent
• Knowledge of recruitment practices, and exposure to recruitment events e.g. open days, recruitment fairs
• Experience of employee relations issues/disciplinary matters.
• Ability to identifying and implementing local operations training and development needs.
• Exposure to writing corporate policies and objectives
• Fluent written and verbal English
