Our client is a huge asset management firm - they are not exposed significantly to the current market turmoil

This is a Compensation Specialist role providing support as required across all business areas. Working within the global compensation team, you will be dealing with colleagues in Continental Europe, Asia and the US.

The key components of the role are to:


* Provide support to the team during the annual compensation review process
* Provide advice and support on international assignments, including maintenance of the international assignment schedule, split pay arrangements, notional salaries and assignment costs
* Participate in market data surveys, acting as main coordinator for data collection and data analysis
* Provide advice and guidance on all aspects of our deferred award plans and participate in the development, design and implementation on new plans as appropriate
* Relationship management with external share administration providers to ensure the external service meets our business needs.
* Ensure that all deferred award grants and exercises are handled accurately and timely, and in line with the plan rules.
* Support all annual deferred award processes e.g. tax returns, annual statements, leaver statements, quarterly reconciliations
* Maintain schedule of any guaranteed compensation arrangements
* Undertake various compensation projects and activities as and when required

Essential Skills

* IT literate with strong Excel skills
* Excellent attention to detail and good organisational skills
* Ability to work within set time frames and prioritise tasks
* Numerate and analytical
* Proactive
* Teamwork

Desirable Skills

* Previous Human Resources and/or Financial Services work experience
* Experience using Oracle, Discoverer, PeopleSoft and Business Objects
