The role:

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP is looking for a dedicated Diversity Executive to help up administer all aspects of the implementation of firm-wide diversity strategies. This is a great opportunity to join a leading law firm and assist the Head of Diversity with the coordination, management, review, and evaluation of the firm’s diversity programme.

As a Diversity Executive your main responsibilities will involve:

• Assisting the Head of Diversity with the coordination, management, review, and evaluation of the firm’s diversity programme
• Gathering and preparing statistics to communicate and evaluate progress towards targets, including information needed for public reporting
• Managing requests for information from clients, acting as a point of contact for diversity organisations, and setting up a framework for collecting consistent data across the firm
• Updating the firm’s diversity pages on the website and intranet, and monitoring firm initiatives using recognised benchmarking models
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in diversity research and thinking, client and business peer diversity activities, and relevant governmental activities and priorities

As a Diversity Executive your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

• Educated to degree level, or equivalent experience
• Strong communication skills supported by well developed organisation, prioritisation and pressure-coping capabilities
• Good numerical ability to undertake significant amounts of data analysis
• A demonstrated interest in, and a commitment to, the principles of workplace diversity
• Previous experience of managing and implementing diversity initiatives would be an advantage
