A leading organisation is seeking to add an ER Manager after undergoing a period of change. The ideal candidate will have experience of running a HR service centre and providing advice to a group structure.

The successful candidate will continually challenge and improve the existing HR policies and processes in order to develop commercially led solutions that support the overall business strategy.

In addition, you will personally handle the complex ER cases as well as enhance the HR knowledge of the rest of the service team.

Key Responsibilities

To provide meaningful people orientated MI and analysis of this to help identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to the business.

To develop and coach the staff in the HR service centre to continually increase their knowledge and expertise

To ensure delivery to agreed service level standards on all areas under the control of the role.

To coach, advise and support the managers in handling operational employee relation's issues including but not limited to disciplinary and grievance cases, redundancies, restructures for the business areas. Identify appropriate training as a result of this.

To provide the necessary tools to support mangers in managing their staff and to ensure that these tools and policies remain up to date, legally compliant and based on best practice. Coach Managers on the use of these tools.

To handle all ER issues arising through delegation to your team as well as handling a personal case load of the more complex issues

To monitor and provide an efficient administration service covering all elements from recruitment to termination of employees

To work on various group wide projects and reports as directed by the Group HR Manager and to provide cover for other HR posts as and when required

To identify improvements within the HR Department and to drive this forward as appropriate

Building and maintaining influential relationships with key stakeholders

To liaise with the HR Business Partners to identify trends or areas of concern arising from cases your team handles.

To manage a team of HR administrators, recruitment administrators and HR officers.

Experience

Ideally CIPD qualified
Strong employee relations knowledge with up to date employment law knowledge
Experience of people management
Track record of supporting a rapidly expanding an changing environment
