Due to continued growth in the business, this globally renowned Investment Banking Corporation is presenting a new opportunity for an experienced Employee Relations specialist to join the EMEA team. Working within a small team you will take responsibility for the delivery of specialist Employee Relations advice and guidance to aligned business groups and countries across EMEA.

The purpose of the position is to provide HR consultancy to business heads and act as the key HR contact for the business including facilitation of HR solution via EMEA HR specialist functions. You will apply your knowledge of business strategy, delivery and challenges with EMEA HR to assist in alignment of team strategies to meet business needs; Provide support to and ensure that risks are managed by the EMEA businesses for ER issues; Provide support in interpreting ER policy; Complete exit interview process for aligned businesses for Director level employees; Keep EMEA and Global ER teams abreast of legislation changes including maintenance of EMEA legal advise for aligned countries; Act as the EMEA ER lead for new country ‘set ups’.

Successful applicants will be those who can demonstrate experience of working within a comparable position within Financial Services, having gained significant exposure to the full spectrum of complex employee relations issues including M&A, business restructure, country set ups, disciplinary and grievance, annual risk management and policy reviews. In order to hit the ground running, you must possess extensive knowledge of local legislation and policies in several countries across the EMEA region.
