ER Advisor - Kirkby

A leading financial services company are recruiting an Employee Relations Advisor to join their team in Kirkby, paying £32,000-£40,000
The purpose of the role is to provide knowledge and case management of ER processes to managers and to act as a highly skilled advisor on employment legislation and policy. Candidates will be required to work in partnership with customers to support and resolve all cases, act as a reference point for all cases where procedures can't be resolved and to maintain specialist knowledge by keeping up to date with changes in policy. Candidates will be involved in escalating queries to the HR legal teams, liaising with line managers and Business Partners on cases that require external advice, carry out ad-hoc process changes as required and produce MI on all ER cases.
You must have an extensive understanding of external employment legislation, internal staff policies and procedures and forthcoming developments in both areas. You will have a high level of literacy and accuracy, use effective communication skills and be a logical decision maker.
