My client is looking for a Employee Reward Adviser for a 12 month contract a excellent opportunity to be involved in an interesting project.
You will be supporting the development, implementation and maintenance of Pay and Reward Strategy and related policies, specifically with regard to Job Evaluation schemes, organisational design, pay and grading systems, honoraria and allowances. Promote/support the business commitment to Equal Pay and provide a central professional reference point for advice relating to the full range of Pay and Reward areas/issues/strategy.
You will need to demonstrate and develop professional practice excellence as part of a team, through workload management, consultation and practice developments.
Lead on the development of Job Descriptions for all valid jobs within assigned areas/Directorates across the business, working with senior and line managers, to ensure all jobs are evaluated objectively and fairly; and/or matched appropriately to an existing evaluated job profile.
Undertake and contribute to organisational design, grade structure reviews and related job design with regard to their feasibility, effectiveness and budget implications. To work with the Organisational Structure Team within the PRISM project in developing job families and structures.
Manage the evaluation process for new and changed jobs, through all stages, providing advice to managers, job holders and staff-side representatives.
Assist managers with the development of job descriptions including, Establishment Structure reviews, advising on job description content, compliance with good practice, employment law and evaluation time-scales.
Manage job evaluation meetings, including setup/co-ordination of all types of panel and informal meeting, chair panel meetings and process/communicate outcomes.
