Our client is a leading business services Organisation, working within the Facilities management division this is an exciting time to join this developing function as a HR Business Partner supporting and international client group. Based from an office in the South East you will manage a European client base in Germany, Ireland, Belgium and Holland.
Responsibilities:
* Supporting the creation, delivery and monitoring of a local HR plan which underpins the HR strategy and supports the achievement of operational objectives
* Build and develop effective, collaborative working relationships with line managers in order to influence the local people agenda and activity
* Work with client group to develop a motivational and rewarding working environment that will facilitate the achievement of business objectives.
* Facilitate and deliver HR calendar events into the business ensuring robustness and consistency e.g Pay review, annual appraisals etc.
* Identify mid to long term training needs and priorities, coaching managers to identify training requirements and feeding into the business Training Needs Analysis and Training strategy.
* Identify mid to long term resource requirements and feed into the resourcing strategy. Maintain the local plan and monitor headcount, liaising with the Resourcing team to ensure recruitment activity reflects the business need.
* Support the building of a succession plan to support the succession strategy, and help identify and develop high potential people within client group.
* Champion the use of HR Management information and key people measures identifying trends and delivering initiatives and interventions to bring about performance improvements.
* Develop line managers' HR capability and people management competence, professionalism and consistency of approach through coaching, mentoring and delivery of training events.
* Coach and mentor client group in the application of HR policy and practice
* Support line managers with the management of complex/high risk ER cases through advice and coaching, ensuring approach is pragmatic and within an acceptable level of business risk
* Provide support for organisational change, restructuring activity and projects
* Support the implementation of cultural change initiatives and embed organisational values and behaviours.
* Work with other HRBPs to share best practice and raise policy/practice issues. Share business perspectives to inform the shaping of HR strategy, policy and product development.
* Provide support with recruitment selection activity as appropriate, liaising with the HR Resourcing team.
* Drive the delivery of core HR processes into the business, monitoring HR service levels and fostering the relationship between the business and the HR Service Centre to ensure continuous improvement and regular reviews of customer needs.
* Support and encourage positive employee relations, engagement and communication.
* Build constructive working relationships locally with Trade Unions, leading or supporting local consultation when required.
* Support wider HR initiatives and projects
The successful candidate will be a commercial and highly credible HR professional, with a proven track record providing a HR business Partner service to an international client group (preferably European). A second European language is preferred. You will have strong relationship management skills with the ability to influence and negotiate across all levels of a business. The HR BP will have a positive, proactive and hands on approach, with the ability to take a pragmatic and practical approach to solving problems.
