About the Role:
PSD's Client requires a L&D Manager to strengthen the European training & development function across the European subsidiaries.
You will be required to;
·Continue to develop and implement the leadership development strategy across Europe
·To partner with each subsidiary’s training & development staff to ensure the strategy is relevant to both global and local development needs
·To work in partnership with other HR functions to ensure consistency of strategy and implementation and to develop other options for the development of the top talent in line with talent review action plans.

What we’re looking for:
Main responsibilities
·To develop and implement an innovative Training and Development strategy
·To lead the Training & Development team to ensure they have the opportunity to perform to their full potential
·To complete an analysis of leadership development needs across the business and develop programmes and initiatives for our top talent population
·To design and develop a training curriculum in partnership with subsidiaries including both in-house and external courses where needed.
·To integrate European curriculum within overall HQ framework to ensure consistency of concept and delivery
·To research, evaluate and liaise with external training providers to ensure training is of a high standard and within budget.
·To deliver training and facilitation on appropriate courses [junior/middle management level] that change behaviour and increase knowledge
·To maintain a training database and produce accurate and timely analysis that measures the effectiveness of development across Europe and to ensure continuous improvement
·To manage the training budget
·To support roll-out of European Training initiatives
·To provide administrative and management support for courses


Skills
·Degree level education (If possible, related with T&D), or equivalent
·Experience of developing and implementing best practice leadership development initiatives in a fast moving and diverse culture
·Must be able to demonstrate experience of designing and facilitating training courses
·Ability to use a variety of training methodologies and techniques that engage and meet the learning needs of the audience
·Interpersonal skills & Project Management skills
·Microsoft skills including Word, Database, Excel and PowerPoint
·Enthusiastic, confident and positive “can-do” attitude
·Flexible, adaptable and pragmatic
·Culturally sensitive
·Commercially oriented
·Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills
·High level of organization
·Attention to detail
·Resilient and able to work under pressure
·Able to work to an agreed work schedules and meet tight deadlines

Advantageous skills
·PhD. in a training & development related field.
·Fluency in other European languages
·Experience of working with Asian cultures
