South East Counter Terrorism Unit

The following opportunity has arisen within the new South East Counter Terrorism Unit (SE CTU). The role will be based in the Thames Valley Police (M4 Junction 12) area supporting the South East region.

Exercise Co-ordinator Salary c. £28,028

In this role you will have responsibility for the development and delivery of a regional CT exercise programme across the South East Region, involving the co-ordination of resources and planning.

You will have proven experience in planning and co-ordinating exercises and events and experience of identifying exercise requirements, including planning and co-ordinating bespoke exercises to meet local need.

With experience of working without direct supervision you will be able to develop strong working relationships with partner agencies to achieve mutual goals. You will have excellent IT skills and experience of presenting information to senior managers. Experience of delivering training to groups/individuals, a relevant training qualification and/or A1 Assessor or equivalent qualification would be an advantage.

For this role you may be required to travel for business purposes and demonstrate flexibility regarding working hours, and you must be prepared to be security cleared to SC level.
