If you are a traditional trainer who likes to work within their comfort zone in a slow paced, non-challenging environment, stop reading now! If you eager to work in an innovative, dynamic organisation, tackling challenging subjects with a diverse client base, then you should call CragRats.

We are a National Training Award winning organisation with an established reputation for delivering powerful and engaging learning programmes. We have an impressive and growing portfolio of clients operating throughout both the public and private sector. We are proud of the difference we make to those with whom we work and are looking for an individual who will share both our values and our passion for excellence.

As a CragRats Facilitator, you will have strong organisational skills as well as flair and creativity. You will be comfortable working on your own as well as being able to build strong personal relationships in a multi-disciplinary team environment. You already have a good understanding of the corporate world, but are keen to discover and develop new ways of working at the same time as generously sharing your own knowledge. You are values driven and eager to make a real difference through your work.

CragRats Facilitators are committed to providing the best possible customer experience for our clients. You will be confident in conversation with all levels of hierarchy from chairman to doorman, being able to build rapport and challenge perceptions as appropriate. You will have strong analytical skills and an ability to understand the intricacies of motivation and human behaviour. In delivery, you will be comfortable working with group sizes of 8 to 800 and with using innovative and interactive techniques to inspire lasting change and encourage deep learning. Above all, you will be the role-model for the attitudes and behaviours to which our clients aspire.

If this sounds like you then great. Now here’s the straight talk;

The facilitation team within CragRats is responsible for the design and delivery of learning programmes aimed at businesses. Specific expertise in all of these areas is not expected; rather we are looking for someone willing to research and develop new ideas as well as to deliver existing products.

The delivery side of the role typically involves presentations to audiences and the facilitation of exercises to inspire change in the attitudes and behaviours of participants. Audiences differ widely in scope, from construction workers and educationalists to board members of blue-chip companies. Training events can be based anywhere throughout the UK and occasionally overseas. The role will involve extensive travel, but will be based in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire.

Essential requirements of candidates:

• Excellent written English
• Considerable presentation experience, covering both large and small groups
• A full clean driving licence
• IT skills, including PowerPoint
• The ability to create written workshop materials/manuals
• Be enthusiastic about creating new and innovative materials to inspire people both young and old

Candidates have an advantage if they:

• Be an encouraging and supportive team member, happy to work within a number of team environments

Knowledge of personal development and life coaching would be an advantage.

Although live events often incorporate the use of actors to support the presentations, a dramatic background is not required. Full training will be given.
