My client, a leading European retailer, is looking for a Field HR Officer to join their Head Office in Basingstoke & is offering a competitive salary of up to £35,000.
Reporting into the HR Manager you will provide advice to Regional Managers, Store Managers and employees on a wide range of HR issues.
Key Responsibilities:
*Act as 1st point of contact for store based staff on employee related issues.
*Actively participate in the investigation of grievances of a sensitive nature.
*Monitor long term sick cases including attending home visits & communicating with doctors.
*Deal with all maternity/parental related queries.
*Advice on Health & Safety matters.
*Produce employee related statistical reports.
*Keep up to date with employment law.
*Review policies & procedures where required.
The successful candidate will be confident & professional with experience of working in a fast paced environment. Experience of investigating grievances, advising on disciplinaries and grievances up to & including dismissal is required. There will be some travel involved with this role & you must be CIPD qualified or studying towards the qualification.
