You will work effectively as a member of the Wealth Management HR Client Relationship team to ensure delivery of HR products and services to the business to ensure they support business priorities. You will support the HR Business partners across Operations and Wealth Management to ensure that the overall HR strategy for the Wealth Management cluster and objectives are met. Regular travel to Channel islands, Gibraltar and Cyprus
Core Accountabilities
Business Partnering
Coach, support and challenge the senior business leaders on all aspects of their people agenda
Provide active leadership, in partnership with business leadership teams on HR issues such as reward, employee relations, talent, performance, organisational development/change, culture, leadership and learning and development
Change management
Provide lead HR support to all business change programmes from inception through to implementation providing advice and guidance at all stages to ensure delivery at pace and business objectives are met.
Provide lead HR support on all Unite and employee consultations.
Governance and Risk Management
Take accountability for partnering with business leaders in maintaining the Group Standard for people risk within the business area for all FSA and other regulatory requirements in partnership with Group Compliance and Business leaders
Supervisory responsibilities
This role would line manage two HR Generalist, one based on the Isle of Man and the other based in Gibraltar
Role requirements
Professional/technical experience:
Required: Proven track record in either business partnering or consultancy. Commercial Management - working ion business teams, diagnosing and implementing people strategies to deliver business results. Experience of coaching senior leaders and facilitating senior teams.
Preferred:
Experience of Major business restructuring and/or managing people implications of a merger or acquisition. Cross-functional experience - leading change across functional or business boundaries, addressing cultural issues and building organisational capabilities. Talent Management and Development - developing and implementing a talent management strategy to raise the performance bar and upgrade capability.
Managerial Experience:
Experience of managing a team is preferred in this role given the successful candidate will manage a team of 2 directly with a third indirectly.
Academic and Professional Qualifications:
Graduate with additional IPD or equivalent qualification
