Our client is a global, high growth, entrepreneurial business within the Energy, Logistics and shipping sectors. With operations across Europe, Americas and Asia, this is truly an exciting opportunity to define and lead the global HR strategy within a highly acquisitive business.
HR is seen as paramount to the businesses commercial success and growth and endorsed by the CEO and senior management team. HR processes and procedure have been established within the organisation, therefore central to the role will be the advancement of strategy to ensure the business meet its objectives.
The roll is highly visible and sits upon the senior management team, which is dispersed across Europe, Asia and the U.S. The successful candidate will have led global HR interventions and have a proven track record at influencing senior executives. In addition due to the heritage of the organisation the individual must have gained extensive experience within global cultures.
Underpinning the role is the need to design and lead successful recruitment, talent, retention and succession strategies that will increase organisational efficiency.
Successful candidates must have a proven track record of working across complex geographies and cultures, be excited about the prospect of contributing to a relatively new business and the challenges that go with that. It is essential that you have defined and lead HR strategies that have truly impacted upon the business. The business requires an inspirational leader who can influence, coach and empower the work force and senior management.
