Global HR Director

As the Global HR Director, you'll have a vast remit, inclusive of:
* determining HR plans that support multi tiered business strategies
* designing and effecting measures that will provide a more cost effective and efficient HR service to the business
* driving initiatives that will allow the brand to continue as an employer of choice
* building leadership capability throughout the organisation

The workforce is mixed with sales, marketing, manufacturing and logistics teams - so a thorough understanding of the challenges posed by these groups will be essential to "hit the ground running".

This is a well established company with a substantial trading history. It is an instantly recognisable employer brand in households across the world.

Being a high profile brand with union involvement across various regions, you'll need to have proven risk analysis and negotiating skills across a multitude of countries. You'll need an awareness of employment legislation and cultural complexities across multiple markets.

You'll have HR teams "on the ground" in varying countries so your skills in managing others both directly and indirectly will need to be well honed.

Given that you'll be one of the senior leadership team, you're ability to influence and improve on business strategy will be critical.
