Based in Swindon, UK, an opportunity exists for a Human Resources specialist to join the Organisation Development team within my clients HR function. The Organisational Development Team is tasked to shape and drive innovative concepts and processes for talent management, leadership development and organisational change and to support their effective execution. The Organisational Development Team will work seamlessly with the operational HR team to ensure the commercially appropriate design of programmes and the adequate timing of their implementation.
Given the existing skills mix within the team this person will have proven project management experience in the talent management and training and development area. Based on strong project management skills the successful candidate will bring focus, energy and drive to deliver exceptional organisational development processes for the fast paced Trading business unit.
Key responsibilities for 2008:
Talent Management
· Strengthen the Employer Brand by driving the Marketing Agenda at s target universities in Germany, UK and rest of Europe
· Manage pre-selection and processes and facilitate AC to select high-calibre talents
· Manage the Graduate Development Programme (consulting/coaching new hires (talent); supporting rotations across functions; gaining executive leadership support for the programme; procuring, coordinating and quality assuring coaches and mentors)
Training and Development
· Design content and manage facilitation of internal Workout Sessions (3 hour Training sessions at the office)
· Design and implement Expert Training Portfolio for Trading Business
· Manage nomination for Group-wide development Programmes in cooperation with my client
· Consult individuals and their manager on specific development demands and best fitting training and coaching solutions
Person specification:
Experienced and commercially astute HR professional with a solid understanding of Development practice
Proven track record of working with a business to develop tailored solutions
Evidence of designing and leading large scale people development programmes
Evidence of being able to negotiate with and manage 3rd parties
Confident communicator with excellent networking skills; must be a self starter
Innovative, flexible, resilient, persuasive and pragmatic
Proven commercial skills
Strong customer focus and drive to deliver results
Desirable Experience
Experience of working and delivering to a global audience
Experience of working within a large organisation
Evidence of one to one coaching skills with a professional client base

Background (Educational & Experiential)
Graduate calibre / Degree in Organisational Psychology desirable
Commercial experience in a trading / financial industry
