An excellent opportunity has arisen for an HR Manager to join a well established hospitality business that prides itself on providing an excellent standard of service to its clientele in a role encompassing both HR and Health & Safety Management. You will be working as part of the senior management team in a role that will offer you a great deal of variety and a real opportunity to make your mark.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

To Review and improve the current HR systems they have in place
Update the HR handbook
To develop and put in place a performance review system
Ensure that all of the business sites are consistent in following the HR processes
Ensure payroll processed accurately and on time
Ensure all HR paperwork is kept up to date
Handle employee relations matters with managers and provide advice and guidance
Develop strong relationships with the management team and work closely with them
Take responsibility for Learning and Development and streamline the L&D within the group
Ensure inductions are carried out properly and ensure training is being done
Undertake internal training where required (or outsource for areas outside of capability)
Source and co-ordinate any external training
Organise Group Health and Safety Meetings
Ensure the H&S compliance manual is updated by the appropriate managers
Ensure that all recorded health and safety activities are undertaken with compliance in mind
Monitor any external H&S consultants
Ensure that H&S legislative matters and changes relevant to the business are communicated to all of the business mangers
Liaise with the FD regarding supplier contracts and any issues
Discuss any H&S claims with the Insurers and liaise with the insurers as point of contact through the claim.

You will have experience of working in an HR capacity and have experience of managing health and safety within an organisation. Ideally you will be NEBOSH qualified, or certainly willing to undertake the qualification. You will also need to have experience of working within a hospitality or related environment and be able to travel to other business site where required. This is an excellent opportunity particularly if you enjoy having a lot of variety to your working day.
