One of our international clients, a leading international sports marketing firm, is looking to employ a Head of Corporate Services, to be based in Switzerland. The client has over 400 employees with offices in ten countries in Europe and Asia.
Scope of work includes overall responsibility for all HR and infrastructure related matters, integration of new companies into the existing HR structures as well as ensuring efficiency of internal processes. The successful candidate will develop and manage a team of 3 employees, ensure transparency of all HR-related activities and supervise HR administration including payroll, pension schemes etc.
Specific tasks include improvement of HR reporting, review of existing guidelines and ensuring that they are adhered to in all parts of the firm. The candidate will be responsible for implementation of harmonised hiring procedures, development and implementation of HR strategy regarding career advancement, as well as leading and controlling company’s performance appraisal process in Switzerland and all subsidiaries. Additionally, the person will develop and implement an incentive scheme for the second management layer, lead 2 HR managers and give support to subsidiary mangers or senior team leaders relating legal and contractual issues.
Applicants are required to have higher business education with focus on human resources, 3-5 years of experience in general HR management, at least 2 years of experience in leadership and experience with implementation of HR controlling systems. Additionally, experience in HR controlling or audit is desired. The successful candidate will be strong on conceptual capabilities and well organised, with strong communication skills and sensitive intuition of people-related matters. He or she will be skilful in motivating people, with strong commitment and genuine interest in the sport business.
