As part of a major global organisation, you role will be to oversee and manage the Employee Relations function for the EMEA region across 26 countries. Managing a small team of specialists, you will work with business segment HR Business Partners to support current and future ER needs while ensuring enterprise consistency based on corporate policy, process and system standards. You will liaise with Corporate ER and collaborate with other HR functional areas to achieve regional Human Resources strategic goals. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining all international policies & procedures, manage employee relations issues and relationship with legal counsel across the geography. As a part of the role you will drive the people strategy of fostering employee engagement, creating a performance culture and enhancing workforce capabilities for the region.
Of graduate calibre and with relevant skill in the area of Employee Relations in the EMEA region, you will have proven capability working in a matrixed environment within a complex international company. Experience in outsourcing HR functions, managing vendor partners and addressing rapid business growth (organic and acquisition) is desired. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to manage staff in multiple countries and possess the drive & influencing skills needed to operate effectively in a challenging and demanding environment.
