One of Abu Dhabi’s newer Governmental Departments is looking for an experienced HR Manager (Head of HR) to join towards the end of the year. You will be brought in to define and develop the HR strategy and provide for the full range of HR and Training Services including the development of HR based solutions. This is also an operational role in line with a mid sized team HR team beneath you of which you will have full management.
You will be involved in strategic development and communication involving:
• Recruitment (currently 40% of the role in this growing organisation)
• Policies & Procedures
• Talent Management development
• Performance Management development
• Compensation & Benefits
• Organisational Development and Manpower Planning
• Personnel Management
Within this role you will also be responsible for budgeting, cost control and compliance audit.
The ideal candidate will have lengthy strategic HR knowledge, preferably international, from a western HR background. Understanding to Middle Eastern culture and processes will be extremely useful due to the nature of the organisation. You must be willing to be involved in the operational sides of HR in this very broad Head of HR role. Exposure to the Construction or Engineering industries would be beneficial.
