Head of HR – c. £60k plus benefits - national role.
My client is a market leading player in the worldwide logistics sector that believes each individual contributes their success, and that one person can make a difference. They currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join the company in a national role to provide HR Leadership, expertise, and advice to senior management working with the a 3rd party HR team.
The role will involve promoting good practice, encouraging innovative solutions and the strategic development of HR support to the 3rd party business. Building and maintaining strong links with trade unions is essential. The role requires a strong Generalist background, with excellent commercial acumen.
The ideal candidate will be a commercially aware and business focused HR professional with broad-based experience of all aspects of HR. You must have experience of working with unions and change management. Your experience will ideally have been gained in a logistics or 3rd party logistic environment. You must be confident and self-motivated, you will be an effective communicator at all levels, and have the ability to think creatively and influence others.
