My client is 'the' market leader within their field and operates as a highly successful business. Their leadership team are highly people focused and are looking for a like minded Head of HR with demonstrable evidence of working in a collegiate and resilient fashion. Your previous roles will have incorporated both working in a senior capacity within human resources.
Working closely with functional colleagues, you will be at the forefront of organisational change providing your expertise and support to all people related issues. Growth continues to be a major focus of this role which will be evident across both the business and within this role. In addition to this, you will be creating an employee vision for the future and producing plans for the delivery of people change programmes on a strategic level and will have a proven track record of success in this area.
Key responsibilities within the role will be proactive workforce planning, recruitment of the best people, creating capacity for the business to grow, producing succession plans to meet the needs of the business, developing staff at all levels to enhance individual contribution and providing the full range of employee services to the business.
Organisational development is an integral part of this role. You will be ensuring the smooth introduction of change programmes and directing and leading the human resources and training and development teams. You will also seek external recognition and accreditation to promote the business goals. You will be managing workplace relationships, which will include trade unions, to deliver the business requirements, whilst developing and delivering people strategies in line with best practice and business plans.
You will be CIPD qualified or equivalent with experience at a senior level in both human resources and learning environments. You will have a range of technical skills suitable for the role including coaching; assessing; job evaluation; training, along with a resilient attitude and be of an adaptable working character to meet the needs of a dynamic business.
