To provide the European and specialist division with people management practices that support the wider business aims.
- Member of the local Executive Management team, managing the high level performance of the division, shaping future strategies and supporting the other members of the team as necessary on people related initiatives.
- Ensure legal compliance with regard to all employment related issues including involvement in serious ER hearings / appeals and case management up to and including tribunal.
- Significant contributor to employee communication initiatives including engagement with trade unions as necessary.
- Providing the business with appropriate recruitment methodologies and getting actively involved in all senior manager appointments,
- Responsible for prioritizing, supplier selection and scheduling of external sourced training and development. Up-skilling of managers through one to one coaching or in house briefings/training sessions.
- Management and development of HR team and of HR budget to plan.
- Administration and review of all current reward and benefits offerings including the management bonus scheme and the formulation of overseas assignment packages as necessary.
- Remote support to European operations on an as needs basis.
- Support the business with business development activity through the provision of advice in potential TUPE scenarios.
- Manage short and long term projects as agreed with the European senior directors. 2 direct reports, pension up to 5% matched, 25 days holiday, BUPA for family and up to 15% bonus based on performance and profit. Travel within the UK and Europe is involved with this role. Ideally looking for candidates from professional engineering, IT or facilities management back ground.
